Our providers see patients by appointment only. We do not accept walk-in appointments, but if you have an urgent Dermatology need, please contact our office by phone and we will work with you to find the first available provider in your area.
We truly appreciate that you have chosen to be a patient at Central Dermatology Center and we want to meet your expectations. One of the most important expectations of our patients is to be seen by their provider on time. We work very hard to schedule our providers to ensure we meet that expectation. However, in order for us do so, it requires that patients are also on time. We understand that things happen, like accidents, traffic jams and just life in general. As a result, we provide our patients a 15-minute grace period for their appointment as follows:
- For established patients, if you arrive within fifteen minutes after your scheduled appointment time, your provider will still see you.
- For new patients, you are expected to arrive at least fifteen minutes prior to your appointment and to have completed your portal or online registration prior to arrival. If you arrive fifteen minutes after your scheduled appointment time, and have not completed registration, we will need to reschedule your appointment.
- In either instance, your provider may not have enough time to complete everything in your originally scheduled appointment. If this occurs, they will work with you to prioritize your needs and have you return on a future visit to address any issues they were not able to address in this visit.
We have a 24-hour cancellation policy. Any routine appointments canceled less than 24-hours prior to your scheduled appointment time will be subject to a $50.00 cancellation fee. Surgical appointments are subject to a $150.00 cancellation.
Insurance and Payment Policies:
We accept payment from most major medical plans, including, but not limited to:
- United Healthcare
Your specialist co-pay is due at the time of service as well as any co-insurance payments or deductible remaining for the current calendar year.
Patients not covered by a medical plan we accept are expected to pay at the time of service. We accept cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and Care Credit.
We also provide our patients the convenience of a “Credit Card on File” program. Through an independent, secure gateway, we place your credit card in your record and when your insurance claim processes, your balance is processed on that card. Your credit card information is not stored on our computers and no staff member has access to it. Our billing service processes the payment through the secure gateway.
