Dr. Knox Beasley

Dr. Knox Beasley is a dermatologist serving patients in Chapel Hill, NC. Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, he received his bachelor's degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York. Furthering his education, he obtained his medical degree at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana, followed by his dermatology residency in San Antonio, Texas.

Upon graduating from residency in 2015, Dr. Beasley then served on active duty as a dermatologist in the Army until 2024, finishing at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. His roles include the Chief of Dermatology at McDonald Army Health Center at Ft. Eustis, Virginia, followed by Moncrief Army Health Clinic at Ft. Jackson, South Carolina, and finally at Womack Army Medical Center at Ft. Liberty, North Carolina. His significant military awards include the Meritorious Service Medal with oak leaf cluster, the Army Commendation Medal with oak leaf cluster, a Superior Unit Citation, and the German Armed Forces Proficiency Badge.

Dr. Beasley is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and enjoys treating a range of medical dermatology conditions, with a particular interest in acne and skin cancer prevention. In his free time, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife Lauren, who is an Ob/Gyn, and two kids.
